There’s plenty to do at Buitenplaats de Bergse Bossen!

To start, it’s wonderful for cycling here. Not just with a regular bike or e-bike, but the most beautiful mountain biking trails in the Netherlands are located around our hotel. Our hotel is also surrounded by several golf courses, such as Golfclub de Pan and Golf Sociëteit de Lage Vuursche, where we can make a reservation for you.

Additionally, nearby our hotel is the Zeisterbos equestrian center, where riders can enjoy lovely forest rides.

Finally, both the Tower of Austerlitz, the Henschotermeer, and the Dijnsselburg swimming pool & climbing forest are all just a stone's throw away from our Buitenplaats.

Near Buitenplaats de Bergse Bossen, around the Traaij, you’ll find several beautiful businesses. Not chains, but owned by genuine proprietors who want to offer something special.

One of these is ‘Koselig’ by Lian van Meulenbroek. A delightful store where you can find everything from small to large design pieces.

How it all started:

Immediately after World War II, the CNV union decided to establish a holiday center for its members in Driebergen. The construction of this center was literally funded by the members, who saved up small change, such as pennies and quarters, starting in 1948.

Like No Other. Our hotels are not your standard hotels. They are all located in unique buildings, each with its own story and layout. As a result, each hotel has a different floor plan and design. But they all share the same warm, elegant atmosphere!

We operate as a small, independent hotel collection, giving us the freedom to make our own choices, with a constant drive to improve ourselves every day.

We have one Buitenplaats — wonderfully spacious, set in the woods, a four-star hotel that was once a CNV rest house. Additionally, we have two Stadsvilla's, Mozaic and Mout. These are two easily accessible, small boutique hotels located in a beautiful neighborhood near the city center. Stadsvilla's are rated four-star superior. Last but not least, there's our Casa Julia. Located in a charming residential area with a large sunny garden, and again within walking distance of the center. Casa Julia proudly carries the three-star superior classification.
